For movies, RMMI and TV5′s movie arm Studio 5 are partnering to co-produce six movies, starting with the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry “Hototay”. Apart from this, there is an output deal with RMMI for the airing of their movies on TV5. The Kapatid Network has also licensed from RMMI the story rights for some of Regal’s hit movies that will be turned into TV series.

Regal Films executive Roselle Monteverde-Teo, daughter of Mother Lily Monteverde, has this to say with the upcoming Angel-Piolo movie:

“Gawin na muna nila at tingnan natin. You have to commit the crime first, before you can do anything.”

Here’s the sitch: Angel Locsin has an existing contract with Regal Films. According to the contract, Angel needs to finish 2 or 3 movies before she can move with other film outfits. And the statement of Roselle Monteverde-Teo sounds like a threat that Regal will file a case against her if she “commit the crime.”
