Sarah Geronimo‘s new weekly show on ABS-CBN is set to premiere on February 26, 2012. Her co-host in the said program is Luis Manzano.

There are reports saying that it will be shown in an earlier Sunday evening timeslot contrary to previous reports that it will take the 9:30pm timeslot of “Gandang Gabi Vice.”

“Bakit Pa Ba?” is an original hit by RnB Prince JayR and now being revived by the Pop Princess.

The Vehnee Saturno-written tune is the third and latest single from Sarah Geronimo’s 2011 hit and platinum selling album “One Heart.” This music video is directed by reality-TV and indie-film director Monti Parungao.

I don’t know if it’s just me but the music video kinda reminds me of Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep.”

It can be remembered that the team up of Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz in the films “A Very Special Love” and “You Changed My Life” broke box-office records during the time that these two movies were shown.

It also earned for Sarah the Box Office Queen award for two consecutive years (2008 and 2009) as well as the Box Office King title to John Lloyd Cruz for the same years.

It also created a Box Office Director tag to Cathy Garcia-Molina, the helmer of the two highly successful romantic comedy movies for Star Cinema.

In 2010 and 2011, Sarah and John Lloyd starred with different partners. Sarah teamed up with Gerald Anderson for “Catch Me…I’m In Love” and “Won’t Last A Day Without You.” John Lloyd, on the other hand, teamed up with Toni Gonzaga in “My Amnesia Girl” and Angel Locsin in the upcoming romantic movie “Unofficially Yours.”

Later this year, the explosive chemistry of Sarah and John Lloyd will be witnessed by their followers once again. The blockbuster movie threesome of John Lloyd-Sarah-Cathy Garcia Molina is making a comeback for a third movie that is aimed to break existing box office records. Dubbed as the movie event of 2012, “2 and a Half Sisters” is going to be helmed by Wenn Deramas, the director the record-breaking “Praybeyt Benjamin” and will most likely be another joint production of Viva Films and Star Cinema.

There are reports that the leading men of Sarah, Vice and Anne will be Gerald Anderson, Xian Lim and Jericho Rosales, respectively, but this is not yet confirmed.

“Won’t Last a Day Without You” is the second team-up movie of Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson. It is a joint production of Star Cinema and Viva Films. It is directed by Raz dela Torre and will be released on November 30, 2011 and not on November 23 as earlier announced.

The Sarah-Gerald tandem has been proven as one of the best love teams in Philippine cinema by virtue of the P120.21 million box-office gross of their first movie “Catch Me…I’m In Love” which was shown last March.

Come November 30, the “Ashrald” love team is facing a difficult challenge- to surpass the box-office gross of their first movie and to match, if not beat, the earnings of previous co-productions of Star Cinema and Viva Films–”No Other Woman” and “Praybeyt Benjamin”–now the Top 2 highest-grossing Filipino movies of all time.

Because of this, Sarah and Gerald are a bit nervous and pressured to maintain that rank. “Siyempre nandun yung kaba kasi ine-expect ng tao na sana malagpasan or mapantayan man lang yung nagawa namin sa Catch Me…I’m In Love,” expressed Sarah.

On “Won’t Last A Day Without You,” Sarah portrays the role of a disc jockey who’s afraid to fall in love. “Ako dito si DJ Heidi. Ang aking mga pinagdaanan dito, parang in a way naging man-hater ng konti. Ayoko yung mga ugali ng lalaki na babaero. Tapos hindi siya tipikal na role na ginagawa ko na hindi pa naka-experience ng first love. Kumbaga may experience na yung character ko dito.”

Meanwhile, Gerald shared that his role in their new movie is somehow different from his usual roles. “Ako dito si Andrew. Down-to-earth na happy-go-lucky kind of guy.” But although they’re faced with new roles, Sarah and Gerald are up to the challenge. “Sobrang hirap kasi nag-a-adjust pa kami, sobrang layo talaga sa first movie namin. Pero feeling ko makukuha din namin. So dapat abangan kung paano magka-clash yung dalawa, kung paano kami mai-in love at kung paano kami magkaka-developan sa movie,” shared Gerald.

Above everything else, Sarah and Gerald still enjoys every bit of their work despite the all the pressure. “Tulad ng ibang movie na ginawa ko, mahirap magpadala sa pressure na kailangang maging successful yung project. So ine-enjoy na lang namin at director naman namin si Direk Raz dela Torre. Nagtutulungan kami dito para mapaganda talaga yung movie,” said Sarah.

In fact, the love team admitted that they’re closer and more comfortable with each other now. Sarah jokingly said, “Link na link na nga kami eh.” Meanwhile, Gerald expressed “Basta I am really happy na naka-partner ko si Sarah.”

Sarah Geronimo is the former box-office queen who held the record of starring in–You Changed My Life–the highest-grossing Filipino movie of all time until it was outgrossed by two films this year from the same producers.

“No Other Woman” and “Praybeyt Benjamin” have broken box-office records this year by beating the earnings of the Sarah Geronimo-John Lloyd Cruz team up. And the pressure is on Geronimo as her second movie with Gerald Anderson is about to be shown later this month.

“Won’t Last a Day Without You” is the follow-up to the first Sarah-Gerald team-up “Catch Me…I’m In Love” which is the first box-office hit of 2011. Just like the first movie, it’s also a co-production between Star Cinema and Viva Films, the winning team-up that made box-office waves this year for “Praybeyt Benjamin” and “No Other Woman” which are now the 1st and 2nd highest-grossing Filipino movie of all time, respectively.

Another factor that will make Sarah very nervous is that “Won’t Last A Day Without You” is facing two box-office giants from Hollywood – “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1″ which opened yesterday and “Happy Feet Two” which is also showing on November 23.

Now the question remains: Will Sarah and Gerald’s “Won’t Last A Day Without You” continue the trend in the Philippine box-office and will it surpass the box-office gross of “Catch Me…I’m In Love”?
