“Hit the Lights” is an up tempo dance song from Selena Gomez & the Scene’s third studio album When the Sun Goes Down (2011).

The official music video is 3 minutes and 24 seconds long and begins with Gomez signing in front of a lime green background. 20 seconds into the video, Gomez, as well as her band members and a few other people are shown in a wheat field, attempting to keep several oversized balloons from touching the ground. Next, the group are wandering through a corn field and begin dancing and jumping, with Gomez singing the song’s chorus. The group briefly appears in a pumpkin patch outside of the cornfield, throwing and smashing some pumpkins. Later, as the sun is beginning to set, the group sits on the back of a pickup truck, eating watermelon. The truck begins to issue a large amount of smoke.

As the second playing of the chorus begins, it is shown to be night, and the group are on a street in a neighborhood, where they are dancing while holding flashlights. The group proceeds to a house party. Shortly afterwards, the group are in a dark forest, where there are several disco balls hanging from trees. Gomez then appears surrounded by several pink balloons, wearing pink and yellow sunglasses, as well as in an empty and dark football field. A few people are shown jumping into a pool before returning to the dark street where they begin dancing with sparklers and fireworks go off around them. Finally, the group begins dancing and running through a brightly-lit city, similar to Times Square as the song ends.

But he was spotted still and the young superstar had to escape
using a back door, in order to avoid a deadly trampling of screaming tween girls.

Young superstar Justin Bieber, together with his pop star/actress girlfriend Selena Gomez crashed a wedding reception party of a newly married couple in Malibu that they barely even know.

According to TMZ, Bieber and Gomez were walking along a beach in Malibu together when they heard Bieber’s track “One Less Lonely Girl” playing at the party.

Bieber posed for pictures with the bride and groom, Rob and Jeanine McCool, and other people at the reception who were all ecstatic with the presence of the unexpected guest.

The above clip, showing Bieber being mobbed by wedding attendees and graciously posing for pics with the bride and groom, was posted on YouTube by the bride’s cousin, who says:

“Last night at my cousin Jeanine’s wedding reception, out of nowhere, Justin Bieber shows up while one of his songs was being karaoked by one of the wedding guests (Paige Conway). He stated that he was driving by the reception in Malibu and heard a party and his song “One Less Lonely Girl” being sung so he decided to check out the event and ended up making a celebrity appearance, posing for pics with the bride (Jeanine) and groom (Rob). Then took pics with some fans and then ran off with Selena Gomez, who was waiting off to the side, back to his car.”

Gomez plays Grace, a young woman who uses her savings to go on the Parisian holiday of a lifetime, bringing along her best friend and her uptight big sister. When Grace is mistaken for Cordelia, a British heiress, the trio find themselves swept into a storybook world of romance, paparazzi and couture as their vacation takes them to Monte Carlo.
However, the holiday is not without its crazy moments, as the girls must avoid the real Cordelia (also played by Selena Gomez) as well as dealing with the suitors pursuing them accross Europe.

Selena Gomez, 18, first appeared in “Barney and Friends” at the age of nine and is most famous for her role as Alex Russo in “The Wizards of Waverly Place” shares in the following q&a shares her experience on filming her first movie out of Wizards.

Q. Do you have anything in common with your character?

Selena: Like Grace, I grew up in a small town, and I was determined to branch out and do something that I love. Being at home is wonderful, but I think you need to be prepared to push yourself out of your comfort zone and explore all your options if you’re going to achieve your dreams. I think that’s something that I share with Grace.

Q. What was the most challenging part of making the film?

Selena: This is by far the hardest job I’ve ever taken on. Because I graduated this year, this is the first project I’ve been able to work on as an adult. It means working 17 hour days, which can be quite intense! It’s also been one of the most fun projects I’ve ever worked on. Monte Carlo is a beautiful place to work, and I’ve got some amazing people around me – Cory’s so much fun, and Leighton is like a big sister! They make me feel relaxed and carefree.

Q. Is it tough to be away from your family and friends during filming?

Selena: Well, I’ve got my Mom with me, and my friend Ashley flew over from Texas. I miss my friends a lot. The internet is really bad here, which doesn’t help. I talked to my Grandma on iChat once. She’s really tech savvy – my Grandma has got it going on!

Q. Who are you closest to on set?

Selena: It’s impossible to pick just one person! The girls are amazing. Leighton and Katie are so sweet and affectionate. You know that they’ll always be there for you. Katie is really honest. She’s a big fan of tough love and she has lots of strong opinions that she’s happy to express. Leighton is a bit more romantic and dreamy. She’ll be the one saying “follow your heart” when you need advice.

Q. Has working on Monte Carlo inspired any of your songwriting?

Selena: We shot a lot of the movie in Budapest, and I recorded half of my album while I was there. I wrote a song called Ready, Steady Go, which is about how it feels to move to a different country and all the anxieties I had about going. I was terrified, but I was surrounded by people who helped and supported me. The whole theme is about following your heart and finding yourself.
