As typhoon Helen enters the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) as per the latest report by PAGASA (11:00 am – Tropical Depression “HELEN” has intensified into a Tropical Storm and is now threatening Northern Luzon), classes for today are suspended in the following:

Suspension of Classes on July 30, 2012 Announced

The Department of Education (DepEd) via its official Twitter account (@DepEd_PH) has announced the suspension of classes on July 30, Monday, in all public and private schools from Kindergarten to High School levels in Metro Manila because of continuous heavy rains and flood brought about by Tropical Storm Gener.

Meanwhile, LGUs declared suspension of classes including the College level in the following areas:

Makati
Muntinlupa
Obando, Bulacan
Parañaque
Pasig
Rodriguez, Rizal
