Toni Tarroza – My perfect Summer Getaway would be a vacation in our province Iligan City; enjoy the breath-taking scenery of Maria Christina Falls and the cold water of the falls at Timoga resort in Lanao Del Norte. Best of all, is to participate in an outreach program to help children in one of the Orphanages in Iligan City donating toys, clothes and grocery items. Kenneth San Gabriel – My perfect summer getaway would be enjoying the rapids of the Cagayan De Oro river, navigating the inflatable raft using paddles.I havent’t tried it yet. I know it would be physically and mentally challenging but the fact that you’re with your friends and your loved one, the journey to silent waters would be fun and memorable.

Che De Los Reyes – My perfect summer getaway is to spend beach hopping with my sister who is recovering from breast cancer. We were not able to enjoy last year’s summer because of her condition and would like to spend it in the best possible way this year by going to different beaches and just enjoying every moment together that we possibly can.

The Last Song follows the story of a troubled teenager, played by Miley Cyrus, and her estranged father, played by Greg Kinnear, as they reconnect with each other through music during one summer in a quiet Southern beach town. The film also stars Kelly Preston and Liam Hemsworth.

Miley Cyrus shares with Parade magazine that she’s practically ready to burn all the “sparkles” and gauzy pink Disney Hannah Montana costumes. At the ripe, old age of 17 she’s ready to shed the garish G-rated pop-singer-by-night persona and fine-tune that pole dancing routine she debuted last year.

“As I’ve grown into it, I’ve grown out of it,” she says. “When I was 12, I thought, ‘I want to be famous all the time! I want everybody to recognize me!’ [Now] I can’t breathe looking like that anymore,” she tells Parade. “A friend came by the set one day and said, ‘You don’t look very happy.’ I said, ‘I’m feeling claustrophobic in all these frills…”I hate being thought of as a product,” she says. “I am not a doll, and people want to treat me that way… I’m older now. I have an opinion. I have my own taste.”

Miley stars in the upcoming romantic movie “The Last Song” based from the Nicholas Sparks novel. She plays a young girl who reluctantly spends the summer at her father’s home where she falls in love for the first time and finds healing after her parents divorce.

Walt Disney Pictures has released the first trailer for “The Last Song”, the latest movie adaptation of a Nicholas Sparks novel. The film’s screenplay was also written by Nicholas Sparks himself with Julie Anne Robinson at the helm.

The film’s storyline follows a troubled teenager, played by Cyrus, and her estranged father, played by Greg Kinnear, as they reconnect with each other through music during a summer in a quiet Southern beach town. The film also stars Kelly Preston and Liam Hemsworth and is produced by Offspring Entertainment for Touchstone Pictures, an alternative film label of The Walt Disney Company. The Last Song is Sparks’ first screenplay to be brought to film as well as Robinson’s feature film directorial debut.

The Last Song had originally been scheduled for a January 8, 2010 release, but on September 22, 2009 it was announced the release had been delayed. The film is currently scheduled for a wide release on April 2, 2010. The delay was confirmed by statements from representatives for Disney and Cyrus, one of whom said “Easter weekend/spring break” would be a “better release date than January” for the film.
