According to reports, Betty Suarez is going to have a “makeover” in the upcoming 4th season of Ugly Betty.

New hair-do, thinner eyebrows and zero braces, it looks like Betty is no longer ugly! Just Jared was able to snap Ugly Betty star America Ferrera during a break from taping and she looks hot! Is this the new look that the producers are telling regarding the Betty makeover on the fourth season? Will the the new look pump Ugly Betty’s ratings to new heights? What do you think?

Lindsay Lohan to Appear on Ugly Betty

Another falling star is going to be saved by a comedy series! After Britney Spears had a career boost when she guested on the CBS comedy “How I Met Your Mother“, it’s Lindsay Lohan‘s turn to guest on a tv series, and its the ABC top-rating comedy “Ugly Betty“.

But can Betty save her?

Last Saturday, Lohan began shooting for her guest appearance on the award-winning comedy which is set for its May 22 season finale.

Lohan is also said to be booked for as many as five episodes of the series’ third season, playing an old, down-on-her-luck pal of Betty’s.

Valerie Concepcion as Betty La Fea?

The franchise to localize the hit Colombian telenovela, Betty La Fea, which was first shown in the Philippines by GMA-7 was bought by ABS-CBN. The kapamilya network is now in the process of casting and Valerie Concepcion is leading the list of possible actresses to play the pinoy “Ugly Betty”.

Although no one’s being selected yet, Valerie Concepcion said she’s honored and flattered for being considered for the role.

Other actresses being considered for the role are “Lobo” star Angel Locsin and “Maging Sino Ka Man” mainstays Bea Alonzo and Anne Curtis. Even Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez was also considered for the series which almost compeled the kapuso diva to transfer to ABS-CBN.

Regine mentioned on The Buzz last Sunday that she requested GMA-7 to buy the franchise of “Betty La Fea” last year only to find out that the rights was already bought by ABS-CBN. When she guested on Sharon weeks ago, an ABS-CBN official told her they would give her the role of “Betty La Fea” if she is willing to transfer “over the bakod”. But negotiations didn’t push through as ABS-CBN later denied the alleged P25 million “offer”.

Now that Betty La Fea is going local, who do you want to play the coveted role?
