Since ABS-CBN decided to split the loveteam of 2008 box-office king and queen John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo and paired them with new loveteams, fans were deeply disappointed and even threaten to boycott the upcoming Sarah-John Lloyd movie "A Very Special Love."

A Very Special Love is John Lloyd’s latest film after the boxoffice hit “One More Chance” and is also Sarah Geronimo’s debut movie.

In an interview by Cinema News, John Lloyd admitted that changing loveteams is a big risk for him.

“Ito yung magpapaliwanag kung gaano ka-fair yung judgment nila. Kasi aaminin ko hindi ito naging madaling step sa akin coming from a very successful movie.

“Pero ito rin yung susukat–I would say–nung values ba ng sumusuporta sa akin kung ganun ba kasimple ang hindi sumuporta sa isang sinasabi mong iniidolo mo dahil lang iba ang kanyang kasama,” he elaborates.
