Sinag Pilipinas and Perlas Pilipinas’ SEAG Matches Air Live on Studio 23

Games of Philippine Basketball Squad in the ongoing Southeast Asian Games air live on Studio 23.

In their quest to bag gold medals in the 26th Southeast Asian Games (SEA), the Philippines’ men’s basketball team will go against one of its toughest competitor, Thailand.

Studio 23, the official carrier of the 26th SEA Games, proudly brings the live airing of their match against Thailand on Wednesday, 12p.m.

The Philippines earlier trounced Camdodia, 127-68, at the opening of the tourney’s basketball games on Monday (Nov 14)

Composed of Chris Tiu and Greg Slaughter, Chris Ellis, Cliff Hodge, RR Garcia, Garvo Laneta, Jake Pascual, Emman Monfort, Nico Salva, Bobby Ray Parks and Kiefer Ravena and Dave Marcelo, team Philippines belongs to Group A with Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam, while host Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Myanmar were bracketed in Group B.

Sports analysts said Thailand is facing a tough competition, as floods have wreaked havoc on their country. However, Thai cagers will still do their best for their matches, especially with the team they consider as the hardest to beat, the Philippines.

Matches of the Philippine basketball team’s women counterpart will also be aired on Studio 23—against Malaysia on November 16, 2p.m.; Thailand on November 18, 2p.m.; Indonesia on November 19, 4p.m.

Will the Filipino cagers maintain its good post in SEA Games men’s basketball games? Catch all these hard court action on Studio 23.
