Pacquiao vs Bradley Fight Results: Timothy Bradley Wins via Split Decision

Manny Pacquiao just lost his WBO welterweight title to American Timothy Bradley on Saturday on a controversial split decision at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

This is Pacquiao’s first defeat since 2005 when he lost to Erik Morales, the result being 113-115, 115-113 and 115-113 in favor of Timothy Bradley.

Fight promoter Bob Arum questioned the judges’ scores during the post-fight news conference.

“I’ve never been as ashamed to be associated with the sport of boxing as I am tonight. This is a fight that respected people scored 11-1, 10-2 to Pacquiao. They said that Bradley was trying hard but that this was a mis-match,” he said.

Timothy “Desert Storm” Bradley improved his undefeated record to 29-0 with 12 knockouts, while Manny Pacquiao suffered to 54-4-2 with 38 knockouts.

Judges’ score:

Judge Jerry Roth – 115-113 in favor of Pacquiao
CJ Ross – 115-113 in favor of Bradley
Duane Ford – 115-113 in favor of Bradley

Boos from the audience echoed to all corners of The MGM Grand in Las Vegas after Bradley was announced as the new Welterweight champion.
