Justin Bieber Cancels Manila Concert

It looks like Kim Chiu and Justin Bieber wont meet after all as the Canadian Superstar abruptly decided to cancel the remaining dates of his ongoing “Purpose” world tour including the highly-anticipated show at the Philippine Arena on September 30.

JustinBieberMusic.com released the following statement today, July 24:

“Due to unforseen circumstances, Justin Bieber will cancel the remainder of the Purpose World Tour concerts. Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them. He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the Purpose World Tour over last 18 months. He is grateful and honored to have shared that experience with his cast and crew for over 150 successful shows across 6 continents during this run. However, after careful consideration he has decided he will not be performing any further dates. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.”

Aside from Manila, other cancelled shows include 6 cities in the United States, 2 nights in Toronto Canada, 2 nights in Tokyo Japan, 1 in Hong Kong, and 1 in Singapore.

MMI, the Philippine promoter of the Purpose World Tour confirmed the cancellation via Twitter:

In a quick interview with TMZ, Bieber has this to say about his decision to cancel the remaining 14 concerts:

“Everything’s fine … I’ve been on tour for two years, [I’m going to spend time] resting, relaxation gonna ride some bikes. For his fans, he said: “I love you guys, you’re awesome, I’m sorry for anyone who feels disappointed or betrayed.”
