Over 400 Kapamilya Stars Show #FamilyIsLove on ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID

Family is at the core of Filipino culture, and is a great source of hope and strength. Even in the toughest of times, Filipinos rise up amidst adversity and come out stronger, thanks to the love and support of family.

As the Christmas season approaches, ABS-CBN celebrates love found in all kinds of families through its 2018 Christmas Station ID with the theme “Family is Love” that will premiere on November 18 on “ASAP.”

Over 400 Kapamilya Stars from ABS-CBN’s entertainment and news programs on its various media platforms will be part of the video, headlined by the likes of Vice Ganda, Sarah Geronimo, Gary Valenciano, Sharon Cuneta, Piolo Pascual, new Kapamilya Regine Velasquez, and loveteams Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano, James Reid and Nadine Lustre, and Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto.

They will be joined by other ABS-CBN world-class talents Martin Nievera, Ogie Alcasid, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Billy Crawford, Iñigo Pascual, KZ Tandingan, Moira Dela Torre, Darren Espanto, Erik Santos, Janine Berdin, and Yeng Constantino and “It’s Showtime” hosts Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, Jhong Hilario, Amy Perez, Mariel Rodriguez, Jugs Jugueta, Teddy Corpuz, Ryan Bang, and Karylle, and the TNT Boys Mackie Empuerto, Kiefer Sanchez, and Francis Concepcion in singing this year’s theme, which lyrics were written by ABS-CBN Creative Communications Management division head Robert Labayen and Lloyd Oliver “Tiny” Corpuz, and with music by Marcus Davis and Amber Davis.

Also lending their voices in the Christmas Station ID are Coco Martin and the cast of “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” (FPJAP), the UST Singers, AFP choir, Ramon Magsaysay High School (Manila) choir, and Koro Bangkal Magbikin choir.

Leading up to the much-anticipated premiere of the “Family is Love” station ID, Kapamilyas can watch five stories of inspiring Filipino families on various Kapamilya shows.

“FPJAP” will feature the story of the Garcia brothers—three military men from different military services who fought side by side during the Marawi siege on Monday (November 12). On Tuesday (November 13), “It’s Showtime” will feature the story of Asian Games gold medalist Margielyn Didal and her family, who worked together to support the skateboarder in reaching her dreams.

Meanwhile, “Magandang Buhay” will feature the story of superwoman and mom Lorlie “Keribels” Noblezada on Wednesday (November 14). Despite juggling jobs as a security guard, traffic enforcer, masahista, and “crying lady” to support her big family, Lorlie also managed to fulfill her goal of getting a college degree. On Thursday (November 15) after “TV Patrol,” viewers will be inspired of the bayanihan among communities in Benguet as they rise from the ravage of typhoon Ompong.

Finally, on Saturday (November 17), “MMK” will feature the story of Dr. Viktorija Cirvinskaite, a 30 year-old missionary doctor from Lithuania who left her country and everything she owned to help the residents of Talim Island and become its only resident doctor.

Amber Davis also provided vocals for the music used for these wonderful stories.

The ABS-CBN Christmas Station IDs has become a tradition among Filipinos. The videos, which garner millions of views on Youtube like last year’s “Just Love Ngayong Pasko,” bring joy and inspiration to Filipino families with their positive messages and catchy melodies.
