BTS Scores 3 Guinness World Records this 2019

After scoring a spot in the Guinness Book of Records last year for having the Most Twitter Engagements for a Music Group, K-pop supergroup BTS landed three new world records this year in the prestigious annual publication.

Guinness World Records announced that BTS was able to break 3 world records on YouTube with their latest release ‘Boy With Luv’ featuring American Popstar Halsey: “Most viewed YouTube video in 24 hours,” “Most viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours,” and the “Most viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours by a K-pop group.”

These are the 3 recognitions so far and at this rate, BTS could smash more records in the coming days.

According to Guinness, the previous record holder of these three titles is BLACKPINK with 56,700,000 views in 24 hours of their latest single “Kill This Love” which premiered on April 4. Sadly, the K-pop girl group were able to grasp these records for just over a week.
