‘Hello, Love, Goodbye’ Grosses P838 Million Worldwide in 24 Days

Star Cinema announced on their official Instagram account (@starcinema) that the romantic movie “Hello, Love, Goodbye” starring Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo has surpassed the P800-million mark in worldwide box-office. It’s the second Filipino movie after last year’s “The Hows of Us” (starring Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla) to reach that milestone. And what’s the common denominator of these two films? It’s Cathy Garcia-Molina as director, Carmi Raymundo as screenwriter, and Kathryn as lead actress!

Hello, Love, Goodbye is now on track to become the highest-grossing Filipino Film of All Time. On it’s 24th day of screening last August 23, 2019, the film has grossed P838,514,653.70 in ticket sales. Now it only needs at least P78 million to break the record of 2018’s “The Hows Of Us” which garnered P915 million in worldwide box-office. Is it possible? The last holiday of the month will help as the film is now screening on its 4th weekend (long weekend at that). As Star Cinema said, 4th weekend’s a charm:

The film’s lead actor Alden Richards posted his “thank-you-Lord” message on Instagram right after the latest box-office gross of “Hello, Love, Goodbye” was announced:

Direk Cathy also took to Instagram her gratitude for those who watched the film in cinemas and not on illegal platforms:

Now we can all say that this movie deserves a sequel.
